Dr. Barry Rubinoff
Dr. Rubinoff continues to not only enjoy, but also thrive, in his chosen profession. Surrounding himself with caring, dedicated, long-standing staff, Dr. Rubinoff's focus for his practice is prevention. Prevention as it applies to dental decay, gum disease, orthodontic problems, mouth injuries and of course, anxiety and fear.
In addition to his busy office schedule, Dr. Rubinoff enjoys speaking to groups of parents and health professionals about the unique dental health needs of children. Working with people has always been stimulating and rewarding for Dr. Rubinoff, as he is also a part-time teacher at the University of Toronto Dental School.
A hockey dad with 5 boys, Dr. Rubinoff is always willing to share his experiences and give tips to new hockey parents. He also has a teenage daughter who hates the hockey rink! If you don't see him at the office, you might just catch him at the rink.
Dr. Clifford Simon
Originally from Montréal, Dr. Simon earned his dental degree from McGill University in 1987. After graduation, he worked as a general dentist for 4 years with the James Bay Cree of Northern Quebec. In 1994, Dr. Simon continued his professional education at Philadelphia's Temple University in orthodontic training.
Since 1995, Dr. Simon has been practicing orthodontics in Toronto with Dr. Rubinoff and continues to serve as Chief Orthodontist to the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay, Quebec.
Dr. Simon considers including orthodontic evaluation and treatment in a children-focused dental practice to be a great benefit to the patient, in terms of early treatment needs and oral hygiene reinforcement. An avid traveller, he enjoys visiting new countries, experiencing new cultures and photographing everything for future memories.
Dr. Matt Grinstein
Practicing Limited to Children
Dr. Matt graduated from dentistry from the University of Western Ontario in 2008. After graduation, he spent two years treating children at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto Pediatric department.
A major goal of Dr. Matt is to create a fun environment for the children he treats, in the hopes of making their dental experiences positive. With training in dental trauma, special needs and sedation, he looks forward to treating your children, whatever their dental needs. He prides himself in taking the time to explain to parents the state of their children's mouths and discusses in detail how one can take better care and prevent the start of tooth decay and other oral problems.
Dr. Matt enjoys lecturing to dentists on various topics related to pediatric dentistry. He has completed is Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training and has extensive experience treating hundreds of cases of sedation services for kids under general anesthesia.
He enjoys both playing and watching sports as well as married life and raising his dog Bentley. In May 2011, he welcomed the birth of his first child Jake.
Dr. Kanisha Campbell
Dr. Kanisha Campbell grew up in Brampton, Ontario and relocated to the United States on a soccer scholarship to Illinois State University. After finishing her undergrad training, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and completed a general practice residency in Bronx, New York.
While practicing as a general dentist, she found her passion for working with children and decided to continue her studies, completing her Pediatric Dental Residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center where she served as chief resident.
She then worked as a pediatric dentist in Houston, Texas. Dr. Campbell is now a certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She believes in the importance of forming good habits early, making children feel at ease and hopes to create positive, fun memories at the dentist, leading to a life of beautiful smiles.
Dr. Campbell is a member of several organizations (RCDSC, RCDSO, ODA, AAPD, ABPD,). In her free time, Dr. Campbell loves going on mission trips, spending time with her family, especially her newborn son, watching movies, travelling and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Jennifer Hibberd
Dr Hibberd has extensive academic and clinical experience as a dentist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto.
She then moved to New York City to do a residency at The Rose F. Kennedy Centre in pediatric dentistry. She received her degree in pediatric dentistry from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City in 1984.
Upon returning to Toronto, she received her speciality membership diploma, MRCDC, from The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada.
Dr Hibberd spent a number of years teaching dentistry to aspiring dentists and hygienists. She is very involved in community affairs to ensure full access to care for the pediatric dental population.
She is on staff at several hospital centres, including William Osler Health Centre – Etobicoke General Hospital & Brampton Civic Hospital, Trillium Health Centre & Credit Valley Hospital.
She is a member of numerous professional organizations (The RCDSO, RCDSC, ODA, CDA, AAPD, WTDS, & OSPD) and is active in several charities focused on children’s needs in our community and internationally.
Dr. Sabrina Sunderji
Dr Sabrina Sunderji attended the University of Toronto and received her DDS in 2013. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery, she relocated to Houston for two years to complete her MSD in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr Sunderji is now a certified specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and works extensively with patients with special needs. She is dedicated to practicing dentistry and continues to treat patients in the hospital and private practice settings. In 2015, Dr Sunderji received her Candian Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry and currently works here at Pediatric Dental Associates in Etobicoke.
