Signs Your Child Needs a Dental Filling
Cavities develop when sugars interact with bacteria on your child's teeth, making acids that dissolve their enamel. The cavities may form on the chewing surfaces, near the roots, or around existing fillings.

The Dental Filling Process
We do everything possible to ensure your child's comfort during their filling procedure.
First, our dentist will numb the area around the affected tooth to make sure your child doesn’t feel any pain. Then, our dentist carefully removes any decayed or damaged parts of the tooth. Once the tooth is cleaned and prepared, we fill the space with a tooth-coloured composite resin that matches your child’s natural teeth.
After shaping and smoothing the filling, our dentist will use a special light to harden the resin quickly. Throughout the visit, our team will do everything we can to help your child feel relaxed and at ease, making the experience as stress-free as possible. The process is designed to restore your child’s tooth and keep their smile healthy.
