Dr. Parisa Akhavan is a General Dentist at Treehouse Dental Care - Toronto in the Greater Toronto Area
Dr. Parisa Akhavan graduated as a Pediatric dentist specialist from Tehran University of medical sciences, Tehran, Iran. She took a complementary academic fellowship course in “Hospital Dentistry” at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and was actively involved in dental treatment for numerous young children and children with special needs under sedation and general anesthesia. She practiced Pediatric Dentistry for over 20 years by providing comprehensive dental care for the pediatric patients from a very young age through adolescence. Besides, she was a university faculty member and as an assistant professor, worked with many graduate and post graduate university students.
After moving to Canada, Dr. Parisa successfully completed the NDEB Equivalency Process and National Board Examination and obtained her license. She continues to practice general dentistry in Canada as a Dental Associate in Ontario, servicing all aspects of dental care for pediatric patients. Dr. Parisa is a proud member of Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
In her spare time Dr. Parisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, swimming and traveling.
